More Intentionally Remembering Him

Life moves quickly, and it’s easy for even sacred things to become background noise. This invitation is to pause and walk with the Savior in a more intentional way—not for a single season, but in our everyday lives. While we rejoice in His birth and celebrate His Resurrection, we are invited to live thoughtfully in the sacred space between—remembering Jesus Christ in our discipleship, our personal devotion, our service, and our love for others. Christmas and Easter are beautifully connected, and so are the promises they represent. As we move forward together, we invite you to intentionally remember Him in the coming months, allowing His light to shape daily choices and quiet moments alike. Our hope is that this shared focus helps His light remain alive in our lives—steady, guiding, and enduring. Because He was born—and because He lives—we can live with hope, with purpose, and with joy every day.

Christmas to Easter

Living in remembrance all year

Everything we do—every meeting, every act of service, every moment of counsel—finds its meaning and its power in Him. We are here today because of Jesus Christ. It is His work. It is His Church. It is His invitation to the world: “Come, follow Me.”

But how do we truly come to Him? How do we help others come to Him—not just for a moment, but for a lifetime?

We come to Jesus Christ by:

  • Living the Gospel—not just knowing it, but letting it shape our words, our habits, and our desires.

  • Caring for those in need—for in lifting the weary, we are in His service, and in ministering to “the least of these,” we serve Him directly.

  • Inviting all to receive the gospel—extending the same invitation He gave at the seashore, on the dusty roads of Galilee, and in the homes of friends: Come and see.

  • Uniting families for eternity—so that His promise of everlasting joy is fulfilled in the hearts of His children.

These are not separate tasks. They are one continuous pattern of discipleship—a way of living that orients our lives toward Him.

When we fix our eyes on Him—when Jesus Christ is not just part of our message but the heart of it—we find strength to labor with love, courage to lead with compassion, and faith to endure with gladness.

May we, in all we do, lead ourselves and those we serve to Him—today, tomorrow, and during all our service on our journey to becoming lifelong disciples of Jesus Christ.

“If our lives and our faith are centered upon Jesus Christ and his restored gospel, nothing can ever go permanently wrong. On the other hand, if our lives are not centered on the Savior and his teachings, no other success can ever be permanently right."
