About Messiah
Messiah is an oratorio written in 1741 by George Frideric Handel, portraying the life and mission of Jesus Christ through scripture and music. It is traditionally divided into three parts:
-
Part I: Prophecies of Christ & His Birth
-
Part II: The Atonement (Passion)
-
Part III: The Resurrection (Easter)
This sing-along will feature a selected portion of the work, focusing on the Easter message, and is expected to last just over one hour.
